       SHOCK THERAPY is a Vermont stationed band like few have ever heard. They are a unique band, in the sense that they are the pioneers of a new genre. They combine a mixture of chorus, rap, and rock into different segments of a single song, forming a new "hybrid genre" that employs each element separately, yet together. Such as it is, one must hear their music to fully understand its uniqueness. Currently, rap/hip hop and rock tend to be the major competing genres in America that typically rank high among the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. It is only a matter of time before such a genre of combination rap/rock hits it with mainstream audiences.

      Let it be known that SHOCK THERAPY was one of the first, for they are more than just a band, they are a genre within itself.
